Invoices, receipts, and business purchases

Polar is the merchant of record, which means your receipt comes from Polar and includes applicable sales tax or VAT for your location, calculated at checkout.

Buying as a business: the receipt link in your email lets you add your company name, address, and tax ID to generate a compliant invoice for expensing or accounting. You can do this yourself, any time, without contacting us.

If your finance team needs something the self-serve invoice does not cover, email support and we will sort it out with Polar.
